We grow when actively participating in our own work as well as observing another in the group. Neuroscience reports mirror neurons in our brain fire in response to what we are seeing/experiencing with others. We resonate with the other and when the neurons fire in this alignment new pathways are wired together. Neurons that are wired together also fire together. With repetition, this gives us the ability to change our old patterns into something new: thoughts, beliefs, and behavior. We have choice.
While it may seem intimidating for some to share in a group experience, Carol is a seasoned group facilitator and has great sensitivity to safety, group dynamics, and personal choice.
Comments from previous group members:
~ "I'm not alone in my feelings, I've learned to trust again."
~ "Group participation is helpful in discovering parts of me and in understanding my personal response to stressful situations. I feel more connected to others."
~ "Group members bravely challenge each other when their Parts have felt threatened and have been met with openness. It encourages me to speak openly in the group which can be translated to my other relationships."
~ "It's a place where I can be closest to my true Self. I don't have to put my defenses up, I can be me, (group is) a break from the reality of my every day life."
~ "I am better able to identify and have compassion for parts of my story that include trauma (both large and small) which leads to healing all around."

*Internal Family Systems, IFS, is a research based, dynamic healing modality that compassionately embraces the multifaceted aspects of who we are. The IFS model shows how we relate to our internal system (parts and their interactions with each other) as well as external systems (nuclear family, extended family, work, church, society, etc.). It is gentle, effective and non-pathologizing.
Groups are on hold until further notice due to COVID-19
Women have the opportunity to explore all aspects of themselves and develop new relationships within and with others.
We meet for a designated number of weeks each series and use imagery, deep introspection, journaling, art, music, and psychodramatic processes. Topics vary, are collaboratively decided and include teaching and integration work.

This program uses Family Constellation work to provide a sacred space for participants to see things that have not yet been seen in themselves and with family (or other) systems, and release constrictions to love and belonging.
Using an experiential format, workshop participants were introduced to the notion that there are transformative powers in life's stuck phases and were encouraged to allow a new narrative to emerge with new potential.
Team building, outdoor experiential games and group dynamics were used to bring staff together in this two day training.
